PROLOGUE:



Ever seen Disney movies and decided you wanted a prince like the princesses end up with? I bet you have.

I'm no exception, and to be honest, I have too. When I met a real Prince Charming, my hopes were so high that I'll find my happy ending too.

My name is Aribella Kirby and this is my close to a fairytale story.

I'll be tuning into this. (really! )

CHAPTER 1

"Aribella." My mum's voice cut through my dream. "Honey, it's six thirty. The new school is waiting."
I lay still for a while before finally opening my eyes.
"Hurry up. Breakfast will be ready in five minutes." Mum exited my room leaving me to wonder about the new school I was going to.
"Cr*ap!" I muttered and got up.

Twenty minutes after waking up , I emerged in the kitchen dressed in the hideous school uniform.
It was a white 3/4 sleeved blouse and a plaid blue skirt that fell a little above my knees. It had an ugly tie to go with it.

I grabbed a piece of toast and headed out to the car where my brother sat honking furiously.
The school was only a few blocks away but I seriously don't want to walk since I don't know anybody.

My brother pulled up just beside the entrance gate. I gave the school a glance and defiantly crossed my arms over my chest.
I seriously am not in the mood for the whole 'I'm new here' thing.

"Get your arse out!" My brother complained.
I shot him a death glare and stuck out my tounge.
"One tip little sis, stay clear of the mean girls." My brother called after me as I got out of his car.

Bredford High School. My new school.
I surveyed its grounds from where I stood. With a sigh, I walked up the path to the door.
"Hello new school." I muttered sarcastically.

After collecting my time table from the Principal's office, I made my way to homeroom where I had the annoying task of introducing myself to a room full of people who didn't care.

"Hi. My name is Aribella and I'm new here." I observed the students in the room. "Yeah, so. Basically, I love to write and do physical stuff."

After a brief silence, I awkwardly made my way back to my chair.
Talk about welcoming.

For every other class, I got to do the ame thing over and over again. Luckily at maths, the Lunch bell rang just before I got up front.
I grabbed my books and walked to my locker. I stuffed them in and leaned on the door.
Students were all crowding to one direction which meant that the cafeteria was that way.

I turned toward the other direction and aimlessly passed through hallways. Finally, I spotted a cassroom that was open. The door was slightly ajar. I pushed it open further and looked inside. Nobody was in.
Perfect!

I fished for my ipod in my bag and propped up my feet on the desk in front of me. I leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes as my head bopped along to the steady beat of music.

THUD!

I dropped my feet to the floor and looked at the door to whoever closed it.
A boy roughly my age with sandy, blonde hair stood awkwardly facing me. He had a nice built physique. His hair was stylishly tousled and his fringe falling over his eyes.
He looked cool...attractive even.

"I see you have discovered my hide out." He said as he sat down on the chair beside me.
"I didn't know this was a private room. I'll leave." I gathered my things.
"No. Please. Just stay." I did as I was told and looked at the boy beside me.
"Dougie." He stuck out his hand.
"Aribella" I shook it.
"Aribella. Hmmm. What are you doing here?" He shifted in his seat and looked at me curiously.
"I'm new here and I guess a bit allergic to your school."
"Ahhh. A newbie. You'll get used to it. Welcome by the way." He said coolly.
