Brit Boy Band, McFLY!

(Intro..)
Have you ever heard of Brit boy-bands?
Yeah, the ones from United Kingdom. In such, some of you are not familiar with because they only are being promoted near the place.

Well, here's something to be discussed about a British boy band from UK who, we think, should be given a lot of credit for making such awesome music and as well as thrilling entertainment.

McFLY.
The band who found fame at early or mid 2004 in London, England.
The band includes front man Tom Fletcher (guitars and vocals) who gathered up Danny Jones (guitars and vocals), Dougie Poynter (bass and backing vocals) and Harry Judd (drummer).

Music.
The band produces pop-rock which had inspired thousands or maybe millions of fans in Europe and as well as the other countries. The lyrics and tunes of their songs can truly rock people's heads out and can make anyone and everyone sing along. Their songs are composed by Tom Fletcher which Danny Jones giving much effort to help. All throughout, their songs are just a complete addiction to people that some could even play it with their own versions.

Awards and appearances.
Their first debut album, Room On The 3rd Floor, went straight to #1 on the UK Albums Chart. Also, their first single, 5 Colours In Her Hair which was released at early 2004, topped the chart. Not only that! The boys also had awards from Nickelodeon's UK Kids Choice Awards, voted always as the best band of the year. Amazingly how Tom, Danny, Dougie, and Harry managed to get several awards from different kinds of awarding shows!

They just recently released their new album entitled Radio:Active last October, 2008. There include "Lies", one of their singles that reached the 4th spot on the charts. They also had been featured on the movie Just My Luck, which Lindsay Lohan starred. The boys were one of the major roles and sure gave a hinch of their songs as they were shown in the movie.

These lads are one of the most talented musicians in history who had beaten The Beatles from the record being the youngest band ever.

The fans.
Of course there are fans in the Philippines! In such, we have gathered up people from different regions of the country to form a group and to of course promote the band here. We have been requesting McFLY songs over the radio, videos on music channels, and a lot more! We have also put much, much effort on making songs for them, making McFLY T-shirts and creating banners that we usually scatter on the internet so they would be known not only here.. but also world-wide!

i like it, pero parang my kulang ung mga ibang awards nila na nakuha nila ung BRITAINS PRIDE... ung mga na accomplish nila, like they said, they got 2 no.1 albums and 7 no.1 musics nag nag top sa ibat ibang charts, e-add mo rin kaya ung pass concert nila sa brazil at WORLD tour sa buong UK kung paano naging successful
ano ung mga plans nila this comming year... (bahala ka kung gusto mo, ok lang..) i'll just search more information... pero bahala ka..

Well, basically the article focuses on the band's music and traits.
Like.. intro pa muna kasi diba first time palang i-feature sa magazine.
We're introducing McFLY to some people who don't know them.. YET.
Maybe if we had the chance to feature them again for the 2nd time.. dun na natin i-lagay.

And of course I agree with you.
Pero the article seems long na. What if 4 pages ang need natin pero may limit.
Syempre di dapat mawalan ng uber daming pics on the article, diba? Huge ones.. colorful ones.

We could edit it all up if nag agree ang Candy, pwede ba yun?
Idk.. This is our first time.. excited tayong lahat na halos buong bio ng McFLY na yung inindicate natin.

there's two that i just noticed.. the 'brittish boy band' thingy. what do you mean boy band? like boyzone, westlife, etc? cos diba they don't want to be called as the 'boy band'? and the dougie writes songs too, right?

There are a lot of bands today which is still under the category boy band. But boy bands and bands are musically different. McFLY is one of the bands which is consists of boys, but not considered as a boy band.
McFLY rose to fame in 2004. Their debut single, Five Colours in Her Hair, and debut album, Room on the third floor, entered the UK Singles Chart and UK Album Chart, respectively, at #1. Their second album, Wonderland (released in 2005), also reached the #1 spot on the UK Album Chart. In 2006, McFLY appeared on the movie Just My Luck, with Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine. The band played their selves in the film and played some of their hit songs like Five Colours in her hair, I’ve Got You, and Too Close for Comfort.

In 2007, McFLY hosted the first annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award in UK where they also won Best Band (McFLY also won the same award on the 2nd Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award).

doesn anyone else have ideas for promoting them here in the philippines?
cos I THINK the band might be thinking of doing world tours already. or at least, going to a few countries and playing there. well, they did in brazil and now that they have their own record they can do whatever they want with their music. and in one of their blogs (sept 08 ) they said that to all their fans in other countries that have been waiting patiently for them & their albums: it wont be much longer! YEHEY!! but..we need to promote them here first to get a lot of people interested in them so that when mcfly decide to go to other countries..they'll have the philippines in mind because they (will) have a huge fanbase here! but, if we dont promote them and let other people know about them here and they do a tour but not here..then, maybe we'd have to wait a little longer for ANOTHER tour. so, IDEAS ANYONE?
