My encounter with McFLY.

I'm not trying to brag, but I met the boys. When they were here in March 2006. Two years ago.

Who: Uh, me, my sister, & 2 of my friends
What: Just My Luck Screening (the US street team had this whole first 10 people to email first gets to go to a screening with McFLY, so I entered, and I went!)
Where: Little Theatre in Fox Studios, in LA.
When: March 30th.

This story never actually gets old for me. I still remember every detail. My sister, who wasn't a fan at the time, went with me. On that same day, the boys did a taping of CDUSA, which I was going to go to originally. Since this screening gave me a better chance to meet the boys, I totally chose that!

Skipping the way to go there, we met up with my friend and we walked to the theatre. We saw four seats reserved for the boys, who weren't there yet, since they were running late from CDUSA. There were people in there who didn't even know who they were, except for the street team leader, who gave us fliers of their picture, which is a still from the movie.

More people came, which I assume the other McFLY fans, and my other friend, and this guy comes in and announces the director, Donald Petrie was there too, and that McFLY were running late.

The movie started.

Every time a McFLY part comes on, friend and I would scream. You know the part when Lindsay Lohan's character falls in a pile of mud? The second time I watched the movie, I totally didn't remember seeing that part. Why? It was when McFLY snuck in. I looked to my friends & sister, and we smiled and tried to contain our excitement -- well, friend & me.

There was a part when McFLY came on a little after that scene, and friend & I screamed, and Danny turned around & smiled at us. We saw the boys giggling to each other like, "there are fans here!" (by the way, the boys had no idea there were fans coming; only 10 fans + one guest each could come, so probably 20 were there to see them)

After the movie, we had to use the restroom, which was outside the theatre. Turns out, right in front of us, Danny and Tom were heading that way, too (the boys room). My sister bursts into 'I'll Be Ok', and Danny looks over to us.

& the restrooms were attached to each other, with the air vents in between. So me, my sis, and my friend started shouting 'WE LOVE MCFLY' & 'MCFLY ROCKS', & we heard Danny shout back with a 'THANK YOU!'

Back to the theatre, the guy announced the boys wanted to meet with every fan. We were gonna go to Danny first, but he was hogged by these girls. We went to Harry first. Oh, such a dreamy guy. He's so charming! He's seriously Judd the Studd! I'm actually fanning myself right now.

Next, we were gonna go to Danny again, but it was time for group pics! For me and my sister's group pic, my sis told Danny that it was us who yelled in the restroom, and he was like, "THAT WAS YOU GUYS?!" and we nodded. Then he was like, "OH YEAH YEAH!" and made a little face, "TOM WAS MAKING POO!" and Tom said something like, "Was not."

After all that we talked to Tom, and my friend had presents for them, lol. OMG. Disney Princesses Walkie Talkies, paper tiaras, coloring books, sticky lizards for Dougie .. to name a few. Haha I think it was Harry that went "I LOVE COLORING BOOKS!" And then Tom had to go take a seat for the teenhollywood.com interview [found this out later]. We quickly went to Danny, and talked a bit, and he had to go there too. Then were were being kicked out.

So we were walking to the entrance of the Fox studios when my sis was like, LETS GO BACK. because we didn't get to talk to them as much. So we waited. OUTSIDE THE THEATRE. For them. :] It wasn't that long of a wait. Less than 5 minutes.

A few random people walked out, and finally Danny was the first to came out. They were so nice and polite. I mean like, they weren't rushed or anything. I liked that about them. A lot of respect for them.

Dougie just passed by.. he was so cute though. And shy. I didn't talk to him much. But the last member before they left in their white 'getaway van' (My sister called that, and Tom laughed at that ) van, we talked to Tom.. Danny went to talk to this other fan, and Harry went to the loo! Dougie went in the van already, hah. But yeah we talked to Tom for a few good minutes. And then before he left, he shook our hands each. His hand was warm, I'm jealous because our hands were cold. We separated ways.

Danny almost drew on Tom's face on the picture we were given! See, Danny said he was tired, and my sis asked if he could sign the picture, and he signed near Tom's face. & the sharpie was near Tom's face & he was like, "Should I?... Nah." Then he left, & Tom came over. My sis had to rat Danny out, LOL. So he drew on Danny's face on the picture.

To end the night, we were outside the studio, and I was on the phone with my mom cause she was picking us up. And then in the streets we saw that same familiar white van McFLY was in passing by. And as it passed, it honked @ us, and we were staring at it as it drove far and far.. when we realized it was McFLY.
