I feel bad for not updating. Not in the mood to type up anything eh.......and school is super hectic na! It's picking up speed.

CHAPTER 9

"So?" I waltzed through my brother's room with a goofy smile.

I just got back from celebrating with Dougie. What he told me was uplifting.
According to him, they had a lot in common and they clicked pretty well.
Being my curious self, I just wanted to hear Marco's side of the story.

"So." He closed his books and faced me.
"How'd it go? Put in HOW IS HE." I wiggled my eyebrows at him.
"He's okay."
"And?" I pushed further.
"What do you mean 'and'?"
"You know what I mean." He looked at me smugly. "Say it." I pressed further.
He sighed playfully. "I approve." He gave me a small smile.

It was all it took for my day to get a thousand times brighter.

Marco dropped me off at the front of the school where Max met me. Before we could reach the entrance to our building, Dougie was already with us. He gave me a light squeeze and a warm smile.

When we entered the building, everyone's eyes flew to our direction; girls and boys alike. I guessed it was probably because Dougie was there..............or because he was with US. Either way, I didn't care.

The girls started staring and drooling again. As usual, Dougie acted as if he didn't notice this. It made me smile a bit. Then It hit me that it didn't bother me as well. I knew then and there that they were admiring my boyfriend. Yes, you heard me. MY boyfriend.

"See you later?" Dougie looked down at me.
"I guess." I sighed deeply and smiled.
"You won't miss me that much, right?" He chuckled.
"Yes I would." I whispered and gave him a push towards his first class.
"I'll see you at lunch, Poynter." I called before turning towards my own classroom.

At lunch, Dougie met me and Max near our lockers. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders, but withdrew it back quickly. I wanted him so much to keep it there, but I knew well what would happen if he did. I just smiled at him and playfully stuck my tongue out before turning to the cafeteria.

We had a quick lunch before excusing ourselves from poor Max. I better make it up to her some time.

We made our way to THE classroom. We locked the door behind us and just looked around our room.
It held our story of how we met. I will forever love this room......even if I don't even know the name itself.

"Come here." Dougie beckoned me beside him. I sat on the chair.
"Why are we here?" I asked.
"I don't know either." He chuckled. "I just want to be alone with you."
We sat still contentedly and Dougie did his comforting thing with my hand. I looked at his fingers on my palm and smiled.
"Do you think we'll last long?" I asked.
"I don't know." He said thoughtfully. "We can try."
I pondered about my own question. "Yes we can." I breathed.

Just a few minutes before lunch was over, Dougie suggested we got out of the room. He held out his hand and I gladly took it. We walked out of the room hand in hand; forgetting we weren't supposed to do that in this place. Let's just say we only realized it when the people we passed by started looking awkwardly at us.
