Yeah. That whole I look like my twin thing is creepy. You could lose your identity through that. I look like my other brother though. haha

Good to be back. It was a lot of fun. Photo shoots dude! Awesomeness. hahahaha. I'm very dark now though.
Although I'm still kinda "high" because I just woke up, I'll post this up nalang. I can't wait to update rin eh.

CHAPTER 7

After our pizza dinner, Dougie and I had a walk through the streets. We continued to walk and have small talk until we reached the front dor of a small dinner. We looked at eah other before bursting into laughter; realizing we were thinking the same thing. We entered it; Dougie holding the door open for me.

After placing our order, we started talking again. Seems like we never stopped talking.

"It's time for the kind of personal questions." Dougie started. "Let's start with the name. What do people call you?"
"Aribella. Bella." I shrugged.
"I'm the only one who calls you Ari?"
"Yeah." I chuckled. "How about you?"
"Casanova." He replied in an airy and confident tone. I rolled my eyes and a cheeky smile spread across his lips. "Okay. Dougie or Doug."
"Dougie or Doug, how old are you?"
"Am I that old?" He said; jokingly clutching his chest.
"I'm just asking. I didn't realize it's such a crime."
"Well, it is. I'm seventeen. You?"
"Almost." I shrugged.
"When?"
"You'll figure it out."

Dougie and I contemplated on questions we would really like to ask. That moment, our best friend 'silence' had sat beside us again. I'm not complaining though. It was then that Dougie took my left hand in his and started tracing circles and other figures on my palm. His touch sent shivers up my spine, tingles on the places he traced his fingers with and suddenly, there was this strange sensation in the pit of my stomach. The sensation was weird, but at the same time, I liked it.
Dougie looked at me with a small smile and I felt my cheeks warm up. Gawd! He IS Casanova!

"What's the deal with your brother then?" He broke the silence but continued to play with my hand.
"Marco? i don't know. It's a big broher thing, I guess. He says it's rogrammed in his head to keep boys away from me."
"Do you think I'll be good enough to change his mind?"
"I don't know."
"I can try." Dougie said in a small voice.
"What's on your mind?" I studied him carefully.
"I was thinking skateboarding."

"Do you have curfew on dates?" Dougie asked beside me.
"No. Don't worry about it. And you just said 'date'."
"Yeah. I think I did." He said.
"Do you mean it?" I asked and took a sip from my cup of coffee.
"Why wouldn't I?" He said with a fond look in his eye.
"Do me a favor. Warn me next time. I look a little under dressed for a date." I looked down on my casual outfit.
"Nah. You look great." He inched closer beside me. "And...you're okay with dating me?" He said the last couple of words softly.
I gave him a soft nudge on the arm and smiled at him. "Why wouldn't I?"

"I think I should take you home. It's 2 AM." Dougie said as we walked out of the diner.
"Yeah. I'm knackered as well." I rubbed my hands together and wrapped them tightly around me as I felt the cold breeze.
"You're shivering. You okay?"
"I think I'll make it." I giggled and started shivering.
"Here. Take this." Dougie took off his jacket and wrapped it around my body.
"This is embarassing." I said. "I'm sorry. I really should have brought mine."
"No. It's okay. Come on." He put one arm around me and we walked to the direction of the arcade. His arm was very warm and comfy, mind you.

When we reached his car, Dougie unlocked the door of and opened it for me. As the door closed, I sat back and closed my eyes.
This is one strange night. I prepared for a dinner with my best mate and he tells me it's a date. I don't know what's wrong with me, but it didn't seem to matter. If it were somebody else, i would've walked out. But it was Dougie....and obviously, he's different. Maybe I like him as well.
He pulled out of the parking space and madea turn towards my house. I kept my eyes closed; listening to the car's engine, the soft radio and Dougie's rythmic breathing. It was a nice set up.

Dougie nudged me slowly; thinking I was asleep.
"Yeah?" I said with my eyes closed.
"We're here." He said.
I opened one eye and peeked. I saw my street and my house. "Oh." I stayed still.
"Aren't you going?" He asked.
"Can I go later?" i replied.
"Sure."
Silence overtook the inside of the car.
"Okay. Yeah. I'm going." I sat up and grabbed my bag.
"Wait! Why?" He asked.
"Oh." I looked at him. "I don't know. I'm home anyways." I said gesturing to my house.
"I thought you wanted to stay first?"
"Yeah. This is confusing. Let's just say I wanted to stay for a while but then you stopped talking so I'll go home anyways."
"You are seriously deranged." He said with a laugh.
I nodded and giggled. "Yeah. I'm very aware."
As our laughs died down, Dougie turned to me. "So uh...bye?"
I looked at him in the eye and he did the same. oh boy, oh boy.
I shuffled closer and gave him a light peck on the lips. "Good night Dougie." I whispered.

CHAPTER 8

“Rise and shine, my dear little sister.” My door was thrown open and I felt the bed dip beside me under someone’s weight.
“It’s a bloody Sunday morning. Leave me at peace. I beg you.” I muttered as I buried my face under my pillow.
“What time did you come home last night?”
“It feels like I just friggin did. Can you please let me sleep?”
“No can do.” Marco sat up and attacked my sides.
“I’m up! I’m up!” I swatted his hands away and limply sat up beside him. “Why are you waking me up anyway?”
“I was really bored.” He shrugged.
“That’s amazing then, ain’t it?”
“Yeah.” He flashed me a smile. “I asked you what time you came home.”
“I don’t know. Somewhere 2 AM.”
“On a friendly date? That’s highly unlikely.”
I shrugged and he studied me curiously. I felt myself shrink under his gaze. Thing is, I don’t keep things from my brother.
“There’s something you’re not telling me.” He looked at me suspiciously.
“Well,” I played with my fingers. “He’s kind of my boyfriend now.”
“What?!?”
“Yeah.” I didn’t dare look at him.
“I told you he was asking you out!”
“Congratulations then. Now shut up before the whole universe finds out.”
“He really should watch his back.” He muttered in an evil tone.
“Shut up, Marco! It wasn’t like he forced me into the relationship.”
“You like him?”
“I guess?” I looked at him and he looked back at me. “Just give him a chance.”
“I might-“
“You will!” I cut in. “This seems to creep me out so can we just drop it and grab something to eat?”
Marco stepped off my bed and we both walked to the kitchen.

Ring Ring Ring
“Marco? Can you get that?” I called from the living room.
“I’m on it.” I heard the door open and a half ‘hello’ was said before dead silence. I turned towards the front door and saw my brother frozen up and staring outside with a stony glare.
“Marco?” I called quite suspicious.
“It’s for you.” He said before taking a step back. I stood up and made my way over.
It was Dougie.
My eyes widened and my heart started beating. I was scared and happy that he was right there at my door, but I was hell confused as well.
“Hey Ari.” He smiled at me then looked at my brother. “Actually, mate. I came here for you.”
“Come on in Doug.” I opened the door wider and we stepped into the living room.
“Who did you say you were here for?” My brother said.
“I was going to invite you to some skateboarding if you’re up for it.” Dougie said.
“Marco used to be good at that-” I said but my sentence was cut short.
“I still am.”
“Well, isn’t that great?” I tried my best to keep the awkwardness low even if I knew I was just making a fool out of myself for trying.
Marco let a deafening silence settle in before finally taking up Dougie’s invitation. He walked up to his room to grab his stuff.
“Sorry about my brother.” I sat next to Dougie.
“It’s okay. I chose to come here.” He took my hand in his. “Wish me luck for today? I might not make it out alive.” He smiled sheepishly.
“Silly. Yes you will. I’m coming on your date with my brother. Wait here.” I brushed my lips against his warm cheek and headed up to where my brother was.
“I’m going with you two. Feel free to wait for me.” I announced.

Marco dug up his old deck and Dougie grabbed his from our front drive. We made our way to the nearby park for our interesting day.
Both lads were against my presence but there was nothing they could do about it. There was no way I’d leave them alone. There’s no telling what will happen to either of them.
“I’ll call up Max and I’ll spend today with her. We’ll keep our distance but we’ll be close enough if anything happens.” I walked across the park from the cemented area and grabbed my phone.
“Max? Meet me at the park? Dougie’s here with my brother. I’m on voluntary baby-sitting duty just in case.”
“I don’t think I’d want to miss this. Be there in a sec.”

“Gawd! This is waaaayyy too boring!” I complained.
More than two hours had gone by.
“Ditto. I was imagining more…action.” Max sighed deeply.
“Me too, to be honest. But I’m still thankful they haven’t gone into a brawl.” Max nodded in agreement. “I hope they quit now. I might die of boredom.” I buried my face in my hands.
“I think they heard you.” Max pointed happily to the two guys who were walking towards us. I jumped to my feet and met them half-way; dragging Max along with me. I introduced Max to my brother and we talked for a bit. Marco excused himself saying he had to get home for some college stuff and he offered to walk Max home. And now, there was only me and him.
I turned to Dougie with the biggest smile in the world.
“Thank you for making an effort.” I whispered as I flung my arms around his neck. He wrapped his around my waist and kissed the top of my head.
“No problem.”
“Want some ice cream? I feel like celebrating.”
“Sure.” He took my hand and we walked happily to celebrate the day.
