Anyways....here you go!

CHAPTER 2

The next day, I was miraculously up early. I fixed myself and had a decent braekfast.

"How was school yesterday?" Mum sat across from me on the table.
"It was okay." I shrugged.
"Met any potential friends?"
"Nope." I sipped my drink thoughtfully. "Well, there was this one guy a talked to for a while. I wouldn't consider him a friend though."
"You're always finding the guys, don't you?" My mum chuckled.
"It's not on purpose!" I protested.
"I know." She grabbed her plate and put it on the sink. "I have to get going. Want me to drop you off?"
"It's okay." I gave her a peck on the cheek.

I decidd not to skip lunch and hide out. I didn't want Dougie to think I was purposely skipping it because I know where he hides. It wasn't my intention.

I grabbed a lunch tray and waited in line for my share of what was suppoed to be lunch food. After getting my lunch, I walked over to the very far left of the room where only a few students sat. I grabbed a seat and set the tray in front of me.

"Hey." A bright, green-eyed girl smiled and sat beside me. "From my English class, right?"
"Oh. Yeah." I hit my head lighly. "Aribella." i held out my hand.
"Max." She said while shaking it.

We talked for a while; laughing at the food, the teachers and the students we observed from where we sat. She was very optimistic and fun and I kind of liked her.
Our chat was interrupted when a blonde dude and his friends entered the cafeteria.

Their entrance caused about ninety-eight percent of the female population to stop what they were doing and stare at them for a split second.

The blonde, however, seemed oblivious to this. It was like he grew up with females ogling and drooling over him. The air of confidence he carried made him immensely attractive.

"Who's that?" I gestured towards them.
"That's Dougie Poynter and his crew."
"And?" I persisted.
"I thought you would've figured that out by now." Max laughed. "Poynter is the hottest guy in school. Although not the most popular, he's the favorite sight of most girls here; even in lower and higher grade levels. Get this: He's single. Funny thing is, most girls in this room are, too." She spoke so animatedly that it made me smile.
"Hottest, huh?" I said thoughtfully.
"What? You don't find him hot?"
"Hmmm. Not really. Is he?" I said in mock innocence.
"Shut up. Everybody think he's hot. Hell! Even he knows he's hot." I laughed at what Max said. I bet he's the reason why these girls are single.

Max nudged me and made a motion to shut up because the lads were passing by. I attempted to, but I was still giggly.

"Hey Ari." Dougie smiled as he passed by our table.
"Hello." I siad softly.

"How the hell did he know your name?" Max demanded. She dragged me out of the cafeteria and in the ladies restroom.
"I don't know. Want to ask him?" I offered with a luagh.
"Da.mn, woman! How?"
"Calm down! I met him at art class." I said in the most convincing tone. I didn't want to give out his hide out. It was mine now, too. Max seemed to buy my answer since she didn't ask anymore.

The resident hottie acknowledging my presence was a bit intimidating but nice. It was definately good for the ego.

I exited the building through the main door to walk home. On the steps to the right was Dougie and his crew. I eyed them and continued walking.

"Hey Ari." I heard Dougie's voice behind me accompannied by a pair of feet hurrying beside me.
"Yeah?"
"Want a ride home?" He gestured to his car.
"Nah. Fresh air will do me good."
"Okay then." He turned towards his car.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Shoot."
"Why do you call me Ari?" He smiled at me.
"I don't know. I like calling you that. Is that bad?"
"No. Just wondering. See ya." I turned and walked away.

If only everyday was as fun and awesome as this.

CHAPTER 3

On the third day of school, I skipped lunch and decided to "hide out". I secretly prayed Dougie will do the same thing.
I made my way to the classroom. From outsie, there was some sort of movement. Turning the knob, I discovered it was locked.

"Let me in." I knocked.
"Magic words, please." Dougie's voice answered from the other side.
"It's Aribella, smart arse." I rolled my eyes. The door opened shortly after; revealing a pouting Dougie.
"You better be nicer next time or I won't share this place with you." He locked the door behind me and sat on a chair. I took a seat behind him.
"Do you mind if I ask you a series of questions?" I looked at him.
"Q and A. Cool. Go ahead." He turned to me.
"Okay. First question: Are you hungry?"
"What kind of question is that?" Dougie chuckled.
"You're not allowed to ask questions!" I swatted his arm. "You're only allowed to answer!"
"Fine." Dougie pouted again. "Yeah, I am."
"Great 'cause I have some sandwiches." I grabbed my bag and pulled out the sandwiches I prepared earlier in the day. "Want some?" Dougie accepted gratefully and took a huge bite.
"This is good." He chewed and poked the sandwich in his hand. "Next question."
"Okay...uhhh. Are you single?" I looked at him intently.
"Yeah. Interested?" He winked at me.
"Nah. Just curious. Do you realize every girl in school is single because of you?"
Dougie looked at me blankly; still chewing on his sandwich. "I'll go for choice B."
"You're a cheeky one, aren't you? Answer the question please."
"I don't know. What do you think?"
"You're seriously asking me that?"
"Would it hurt if I did?" Dougie moved closer as if to listen more closely to my answer.
"What I think." I said thoughtfully. "I think you are very much aware and are purposely not going out with anyone because you like it that way." I smirked at him.
"Impressive." Dougie sat up on his chair. "Which only tells me one thing, you're keen on me."
"You have got to be kidding me." I scoffed. "The female brain, my friend. It holds all the gossip."
"Still keen on me." Dougie insisted in a blunt tone.
"Assume all you want. I don't give a sh*it." I grabbed my bag and stood up. "And by the way, you broke one too many rules of Q and A."
