I'm missing a lot of people 'round here nga. Most of us are very busy especially now that medyo malapit na exams (or baka sa amin lang yun).

I haven't found time to write much nga. Kahit weekends kasi I have a lot of research works and we have activities. Haaaaaay.

CHAPTER 16

I woke up to a beautiful Saturday. I was in a good mood.

Things felt like they were finally back in place. Dougie and I had a bit of decency in school and people FINALLY understood the meaning of 'privacy'.

I haven't heard anything about Angela (which honestly makes me want to jump around and dance like a moron) and her group hasn't come within a meter range near me.

"Good morning, Saturday!" I said aloud as I stretched out beside my bed. "I hope you're a good one."

I made my way down the stairs. My mum was in the kitchen making breakfast with Marco and dad was in the living room reading the post. Now don't we sound like a normal bunch? I walked to my dad and greeted him good morning and gave him a peck on the cheek. I then made my way to the kitchen and did the same to my mum.

"Someone's in a good mood." Marco said with a cheeky smile.
"You bet." I smiled brightly. "Now give me a hug." I opened my arms and he looked at me horrified.
"If you won't, I will." I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him tightly.
"You're scary when you're happy. Do you know that?"
"Nope." I moved beside mum and helped her with the toast.
"Anyway. Dougie and I are going to the skate park today. You coming?"
"Sure." I lathered butter all over one toast and kept in mind that I shall save it for myself later on. "What time?"
"After breakfast. He told me to just go by his house."

It took us about half an hour to finish preparing breakfast and setting the table. The 'regular bunch' image dissolved when me and Marco started arguing over who would set the table and who would do what. Mum got annoyed and did most everything herself.
After breakfast, I rushed up and went straight to the bathroom. Just when I ran the bath, Marco knockeed on my bathroom door saying I had to hurry if I wanted to tag along. Finding no patience for arguing, I just said I would.
Another half hour later, I was in my bermudas, vans and an Emily the Strange shirt with my camera hanging from my neck. Marco and I walked toward Dougie's house while we carried on a nice conversation.

"Ari!" Dougie looked surprised but happy to see me there behind Marco. I flashed him a sweet smile.
"I asked her if she wanted to tag along. That okay, mate?"
"Yeah. Want to go?" He gestured towards the skate park.

I didn't actually go skateboarding with them seeing as I don't even know how to stay balanced on top of a slow-moving skateboard. Instead, I wasted my time taking pictures of both of them showing off what they got.
I had some interesting shots and some pretty bad ones, but it was all fun.

"Ari. Come over here." Dougie called.
"What?" I put the cover on my camera and put it in the bag while walking towards them.
"We're going to teach you the basics. Come on. Get on the board." Marco prodded.
"Egh...I don't think so." I chuckled and walked away. Immediately after I turned my back, Dougie tackled me and lifted me up his shoulder. Marco grabbed my camera and left it on the ground a few meters away from us. "Put me down!!! Skateboarding isn't safe without safety gears you know! I'm a beginner!" I protested.

My protests weren't heeded and they made me go on the board. I finally agreed but only because both of them were on each side and they were holding on to my arm.

"You both owe me big time."
"We're sorry." Marco and Dougie said in union.
"It won't cut it. This hurts far more than sorry can cure." I pointed at my wound.
Why I got it? It was because the cr*ackheads thought it would be funny to let go of me and give me a "soft" push.
I ended up in the pavement with a bloody scratch on my right elbow. It looked like it would scar but at least it held a memory.

Okay.....first off...sorry Jessica for coming off as mean when I've been logging in for days and checking this thread and not replying to the only person who's had the time of day to thank me for posting an add. My uttmost sincere apologies m'dear.

Anyway........I know all yous got a life and with school and all that. I'm kinda depressed nobody's on a lot 'round the boards. If yer alive, PARAMDAM naman po.

Another anyhooooo...I'mma put the other add up as soon as my computer gets fixed. It's been with me for quite some time but I was never in the mood to put it up.

Anybody alive?
