TITLE: Please, Lindsay, Please (One Shot)

SUMMARY: With plane tickets to England and front row tickets to a McFly concert. Lindsay's going to experience her best birthday ever.

It’s 3 days before my birthday. I’m turning 20, finally shaking the “-teen” off my age. I’m not really that excited, though. I totally expect nothing special. The usual greetings from everyone, then mom will give me 500 bucks to buy whatever I want and I’m planning to spend it on a tattoo.

“Hey Lindsay. Your passport is still active, right?” Mom asked.
“Yeah, why?” I replied.
“Guess what? You’re be celebrating your birthday in England!” said Mom.
“What?! No freaking way!” I screamed. I can’t believe it!
“And I got you 3 front row tickets for a McFly concert on the exact day of your birthday! You can bring Alexa and Miguel with you, I already talked to their parents” she added.
“Wicked!! Thanks Mom!” I replied while hugging her.

Now that’s something new. I’m going to England and to a McFly concert! This is gonna be my best birthday everr. I immediately called Alexa.

“Guess who’s going to England!” I said.
“What? Who?” she asked.
“Me, of course!” I replied.
“What?! Noo way!” she screamed.
“Yes way. And guess what? You and Miguel are coming with me!”
I immediately removed my ear from the phone because I know she will be screaming like hell.
“Okay. Can you repeat everything you said without all the screaming?” I asked.
“Well, aside from the screaming, I said nothing.” she said.
“Haha. I’ll just call you up if something else comes up, okay?
“`Kay. Bye!”
“Bye!” We both hung up.

We flew to England the next day; spend 2 days strolling the whole Liverpool City, well almost. England is such a lovely place; I would never want to go back to LA.

December 10— My birthday: the day of the concert.

“Good evening Liverpool!” Danny shouted, causing the whole crowd to scream and of course that includes us, seating in the front row.
“Okay everybody. We will choose a lucky member of the audience to pick a starting song, okay?” said Tom.
“Me! Me! Me!” Alexa started screaming and jumping like a 10-year-old kid trying to get the attention of the teacher.
“Alright. That girl breaking her arm, Come on up!” Danny pointed at her.
“Eeepp!! He chose me!!” Alexa screamed.
“I know!! Go up there!”

“So, what’s your name?” Tom asked.
“Alexa.” she said.
“What do you want us to play?”
“Well, this is for my BFF, Lindsay. It’s her birthday today.”
“Lindsay? Well I think I already know what song you want.” Said Danny
“Really? You guess.”
“Well, let’s see. Please, Please?”
“Hell yeah!”
“So you say it’s your BFF’s birthday, right?” asked Dougie.
“Yes. Her mom hooked us up with tickets to this concert.”
“Oh really. Now, were hooking you up with backstage passes! Aside from Lindsay, who are you with?” asked Harry.
“My boyfriend, Miguel.”
“Well, 3 passesfor you!” said Tom.
She jumped off the stage and gave us a huge hug.

After the show, we immediately headed to the backstage area. In just few seconds, the two are already out of sight. Great, where am I supposed to go now? I sat on the bench hoping they would pass by.

“Hi birthday girl.” a familiar voice said.
“Hi.” I replied.
“It’s your birthday. What’s with the sad face?”
“Well, you remember Alexa, right? The girl who won the tickets. They’re gone now.”
“Oohh.. I’m Dougie, by the way.”
I lifted my head and looked straight at him. He offered his hand for a handshake
“Lindsay” I said.
“Oh, right. Lindsay. Please, Please.” He giggled.
“Yeah.”
“Funny how you really appear like the girl in the song”
“Yeah.. Green eyes, red hair.”
“So... You want to look for them? Come.” He pulled me up without even letting me answer.

We actually didn’t look for them. We practically talked while strolling the whole area for almost ten times. He was really nice with the fans. He would wave, smile or sign something whenever we pass by them.

“I super love your British accent, Doug”
“Really? Why so?” he said in his probably most sexy accent.
“You’re reaally funny”
He just smiled. I don’t know what had happened but an awkward silence suddenly enveloped the place we’re in.

“You know, I feel something really different about you.” He finally broke in.
“Really? What is it?” I asked while obviously blushing.
“I don’t know. It’s like you’re someone special.”
I didn’t know what to say. I blushed even more. The next thing I knew, his face was just few inches away from me; and just when his lips are about to touch mine.

“Lindsay! We’ve been looking all over for you!” Alexa shouted.
Doug slightly distanced from me, pretending like nothing happened.
“We have to get back to the hotel now.” said Miguel.
“Yeah, we should. Bye Doug.” I hugged him.
“Bye Lindsay.” He replied.

I hated Alexa for that wrong timing. But as we were walking toward the car, I felt a piece of paper in the pocket of my jacket. It’s Dougie’s number.

I was right; this is my BEST birthday ever.

*Note: I'm really sorry for the wrong grammar and shizz. I'm not really used to staying up this late and my is brain practically drained. But I still hope you'll like it.
