Do Ya [one shot]

TITLE:Do Ya

SUMMARY: How could I be so blind? bear with me, I suck!


I was sitting alone on a bench in the park. It was a cold night.
"What happened?" someone from behind me asked.
I wiped my tears quickly.
"Nothing" I replied.
I turned around and saw Danny, my bestfriend, with a concerned look on his face.
"He didn't show up, did he?" he sat beside me.
I didn't say anything. I hugged him and cried my heart out.
"Aww, c'mon Ash," he hugged me back "it's not like he's the only guy left in this planet."

I stopped crying now. Danny's right. I shouldn't cry. There are a lot of guys out there, guys who are sane.
"I'm sorry Danny, you're shirt's a bit wet now." I sniffed.
"It's alright. At least I helped somehow," he handed me a handkerchief "here."
"Thanks.."
He smiled. Then, it hit me.

Do I love him, more than a friend?
After all, he's always there for me. He knows every little thing about me and we've been inseparable since we were kids.
How could I be so blind?! The right guy is beside me and has always been there. How stupid!

"Ashley," he spoke.
I just realized, it's so beautiful when he says my name. It's perfect.
I looked at him and our eyes met.
As I closed my eyes, I felt his lips touching mine.

It was my first kiss.

Suddenly, fireworks filled the air and we watched them as they were merrily dancing in the sky.
"Merry Christmas.." he smirked.
"Merry Christmas." I said.

We gave each other a tight hug and went home to celebrate Christmas with our families.



Sorry, if it's not that good. I suck at making fics...
but I'm trying my best to improve..
