when fall comes (one-shot)

hey guys..it's my first one-shot fic...inaaliw ko lang sarili ko kaya sinulat ko 'to ng 10 mins or something...

"i'm sorry" he pleaded giving me a bouquet of flowers but i ignored him...
as far as i've remembered, it was this day that i've been longing for...
not to mention my favorite season...fall...i chuckled


flashback

i was walking through the road all over the leaves...it was fall and i loved it...spring is my 2nd fave....i looked up into the sky to see the clear,bright sun which made my hair look reddish brown..i smelled the fresh air and watched the leaves continuously fall....i was wearing an off-white tank top matched with a baggy brown jumper shorts which i made it hang around together with a flat shoes that goes well with my long flowy hair...when i finished smelling the air, i looked down until i saw my foot...the leaves were moving around me..why would that be..i wondered...before i could look up...i was running hand grasped by danny...
"what do you think you're doing?" i asked him running along, Danny's been my friend for a year now at school..he's the popular guy on our school and we met hilariously..a long long story....anyways..
"just run..." he said and i could tell he's pretty tired and out of breath
but i think he could hold up...he led me to a beautiful place...there are trees around and full of leaves falling...a place where no one could find us..
"where are we?" i asked him puzzled while waiting for an answer
"i found this weeks ago.." he finally spoke after that long run, i guess he recovered fast from that tiring run
"i have to tell you something!"
"what's up? why here?" i asked looking rather confused
"well, you see, it's like this.." he started
"hey!" i paused "don't beat around the bush..." i demanded
"fine..." he said irritatedly " but let me finish first..."
"we've been friends and i don't want to ruin it..." he exlained
"why would you think something would go wrong?" i interrupted
"ssshh...." he said walking towards me "rayne..." he called out..it's actually raynalise but he prefer rayne..
"what?" i said in a startled voice...
"i like you so much, i've been a jerk for not telling you this...!" he admitted..i didn't answered and i gave him a stare and to top that, narrow-eyed
"look! if you don't like it, we'll stick to friends and~~" he paused and saw me crying, i didn't noticed that something trickled down my cheeks...
" hey! don't cry...." he said wiping my tears "can you say something?" before i could speak..i sighed and remembered to exhale...
"er.." i gulped" don't worry...i'm happy..at least you were honest" i complimented
"so?!" he asked dazzling
"yes... i like the place ..it's cool..." i changed the topic
"rayne.." he scolded
"fine! i like you too...!" he smiled and hugged me...after that we kissed...and it was the perfect time..the leaves fell wind blowing and i'm with my fave guy with my fave season..it was my happiest day yet...
end of flashbakc

"how could i resist you?" i grinned taking the flowers...
"i'll never forget our anniversary... i just waited for something.." he explained
"how can i angry be with you..? we should be happy..." i gave him a warm smile
"i was late because" he continued and grabbed something from his pocket...my eyes widened and saw an engagement ring...i gave him a nod...he hugged me tight
"thank you so much for making me happy.." i said sobbing
"no..i thank you for making the happiest man in this world...danny whispered kissing my neck..

one-shots are always cheesy...yikes...lol...
