Chapter Twenty-Two: Julienne's POV

Danny drove me home. We had the longest dinner in the history of mankind! Next thing I know, it was already close to eleven. He suggested that he would drive me home, and would just take a cabbie on his way back to his place. I sat in the passenger's seat with a blanket wrapped around me. We had the heater on yet it was frigid. "Thanks for tonigh, Julienne." He spoke. "For what Danny?" I asked him softly as I shifted my gaze to him. "Thank God he's driving! I can look at him without him knowing." I'm such a perve. "For joining us, finally." He answered. "Oh...Yeah." A little disappointed. I thought it was about dinner. "And for the company, and the lovely dinner." He looked at me and winked. For the nth time tonight, I blushed. "I should be the one thanking you. You're the one who invited me." I gave him a small shove. He just smiled. "Then, you're welcome." He told me. I couldn't understand my feelings anymore for Danny. Does he really like me or am I just thinking that? Maybe he just plays nice so I can be with the band, and would just leave me afterwards.

Danny carefully parked my car in the garage. We both stepped out of the car. His eyes immediately scanned the house as soon as we got out from the garage. "Wow." He said in amazement. "Cool house!" He walked me to the door. HOnestly, I did not want this night to end. For the first time since the day we disbanded, I felt happy and contented. "So I guess this is goodnight." He said, kicking a pebble on the floor. His eyes glued on the floor. My stomach tied into knots but I nodded. We stood there like idiots. Not knowing what to do or say next. He let out a huge sigh and "I better get going." He said. "Yep...He's leaving me already." He gave me one last smile and turned to walk out of the compoud. "Uhmm.Danny." I called out. He spun around in an instant. "Uhmm..you can stay here you know." I suggested. MY throat ran dry. "It's really late and I don't want you to go home alone on a cabbie. SOmething might happen to you." My paranoia kicking in. But I couldn't manage to look at him. "Was he smiling?" He didn't say anything. "Nice move, Bayley. Get ready for rejection." "We have plenty of rooms and my parents arent' home, so I'm alone with the maids and the dogs." I swallowed hard. "Pathetic." "I'd love to." He finally said as he moved closer to me. I looked at him and obviously, that made me really happy. I was grinning like a teeny. "I guess there's a point in liking a guy like Danny after all."

"Here. You can use some of my dad's clothes. You don't mind do you?" I asked him as I carried a bunch of my dad's clothing as we made our way to the guest room on the same floor as my room. "It's fine really. I don't even mind wearing the same clothes." He told me. "That's disgusting, Danny." I said. He gave the cutest frown. "I'm kidding. But really...change." I shoved the clothes to his arms and opened the door. Duke stays here whenever he comes. I can't believe I'm having another guy stay here. But a part of me WANTS Danny to be staying here. Duke hasn't called since he heard about the news. Not even a single text message. Some boyfriend. I wouldn't be surprised if I wouldn't recognize him when he comes. It's been too long. I don't know the guy anymore. Anyway, I won't be bothered by that. Danny is my team mate and I'm just being nice to him. "Yeah right...nice to him!" My mind rebelled. "So that's the closet, the bed, the table, the bathroom, TV, DVD player.." I started to give him a quick tour of the room as I pointed at stuff as I go along. "Nice room. Thank you Julienne." He said as he placed Dad's clothes inside the closet. "No problem. So! I'd leave you on your own now. There's a night light in case your scared." I teased. "Very funny." He stuck his tongue out. So cute! "I'd be in the room down the hall so just yell if you need anything, yeah?" He nodded as he settled himself on the bed and started to take his shirt off, revealing that chest I was looking at earlier tonight. I spun around anc called out. "See you in the morning!" I gave a tiny wave before stepping out of the room. "Goodnight!" He said after I closed the door.

I walked to my room as if I was floating on the clouds... It felt wonderful. My yellow-lab puppy greeted me with a nibble on my toes. "Yeow!" I squealed. "Dipsy! You scared me!" I grabbed his fat head and start to squeez it so her eyes would disappear. He gave a cute little bark. "Come now." I directed her to my room. The shower from Danny's room came on. Goodness. My whole body started to tingle at the thought of the water sliding on Danny's perfect chest and body. I shook my head furiously and opened the door to my room before my puppy starts to scratch on it like crazy. Immediately I lay on my bed and started to recall the happenings that night. That hug by the piano, the long talks, the walk, close to kissing Danny. My heart pounded so hard. My puppy climbed next to me and lay down like a floor-mat. "You know what Dipsy...I think I really like this guy." Dipsy just gave the sad-puppy dog eyes look. "You think he likes me too?" I feel like an idiot. She gave a whimper. "I want that to be a yes."

Chapter Twenty-Three: Julienne's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night to an unfamiliar sound. I looked at my desk clock and it registered 2:25AM. I dropped my head back to the pillow feeling the weight of my sleep on my head. My ears tried to look for the sound that woke me up. "And I don't know why....I just let it slip by...." My body shot up with energy. For a moment I thought I was hearing things. "Danny?" I slipped out of the bed and put on my night robe of my night gown. I opened the door slowly. The sound came from downstairs. I walked past Danny's room. It was quiet as the night. I walked down the staircase and followed the light that was coming from the living room. The voice grew louder, and now I can hear the sound of the guitar. "Danny?" I called out. "Yeah?" The singing stopped and his voice boomed. He was lounging on the couch with a guitar on his hand. Probably the one he found at Duke's room. "Sorry. Did I wake you up?" he apologized as he set the guitar on the couch next to him. "Yeah. But it's okay. Are you all right?" I asked, worried that this guy is still up at two in the morning. "Yeah, just couldn't get any sleep." he told me as he rubbed his tired eyes. "Do you want anything to drink?" I offered. "I could make some hot choco." I suggested as I sat beside him. "Nah..It's okay." He declined. He looked really bothered. His blue eyes stripped with happiness. He just stared blankly at the TV monitor. "You want to watch some TV?" I asked. He just shook his head. He let out a huge sigh. "What's bothering you Danny?" I asked. "I wished I didn't stay here tonight." He answered without looking at me. My heart tightened.

Danny's POV
I felt like crying like a baby. "What do you mean?" she asked me sweetly. Truth is, I was looking at some old photos of Julienne and some guy, who seemed to me is her boyfriend. It hurt me like crazy I couldn't get any sleep. "Danny?" She asked again. "It's nothing. Uhmmm...I'm just getting used to the place you know." I lied. She didn't seem to believe me at first. "Come on, go back to bed and try to get some sleep." She gave me a pat on the back. How can she do that? How can she invite a guy she barely knew to her house, and smile the way she did at dinner, offered me hot choco, and be worried about me not getting any sleep when she has a boyfriend? "She's a flirt, Jones. Her career went down the drain and she need a guy to keep her happy. Obviously, the boyfriend isn't home!" No. She's not flirting with me. But maybe my feelings for her are blinding me. I feel so confused. "Did you write that song you were singing earlier?" She broke the ice. "Yeah. WIth my sister." I told her. "It sounded great." She told me, beaming with a smile. "I'm glad you liked it." I managed to smile back at her. "Thank goodness you smiled." she said. I was taken aback. "I like your smile." It felt like I was hit by a truck but it felt wonderful inside! "Want to watch some movies? I have a huge collection!" She offered as she pulled me to the enormous cabinet filled with DVDs. "Take your pick!" She told me. My eyes scanned for familiar titles. "Do you have Just My Luck?" She giggled. "You're so full of it, aren't you?" She pulled out a DVD and held it up. Just My Luck.

By the end of the movie, I already felt like gagging. I was terrible! Julienne had to squeal and giggle whenever I come on screen. I blame myself for choosing it though. I decided to close my eyes for a bit when the credits came on. A movement was felt on my side. I opened one eye and saw her turning off the TV and getting the disc out from the player. As soon as she turned back, I closed my eye. "You asleep Danny?" I didn't move. I didn't answer. I felt a fabric slide through my body. She was covering me with a comforter. It felt good. "Get some sleep, Dan." She whispered so close to my ear I was having a hard time to manage to stay still. MY body was about to explode. Knowing I can't keep it any longer, I quickly grabbed her body-she let out a tiny scream, pulled her close to me and gave her a kiss on those lips that I ached to taste the whole evening. She felt frozen under my touch but then she kissed me back. "I love her. I don't care about the boyfriend. It's obvious she doesn't love him anymore. I would do anything for her. I'd fight for her. I wont back down." I pulled her closer to me and she didn't refuse.

Chapter Twenty-Four: Julienne's POV

Julienne Bayley-flavored Jello. That's what I felt like when Danny Jones of McFLY crashed my lips. At an instant my body fell into his spell. His big hands travelled on my back. That left shock waves all over my spine. His lips were so sweet. The kiss was slow and passionate, so agonizingly great! He parted with my lips yet he remained close to my face. We were both panting. Our nose touching. "Julienne.." He whispered. "I..." I placed my fingers on those lips. I didn't want to hear what is next. Maybe it's the three-letter-word that 'couples' share. Then again it might not be. But I'm not taking any chances. It's unfair to Duke. WIth this, I thought I'd be able to peel away from Danny's arms. But I can't. I couldn't resist him. I wanted to him to kiss me but I'm waiting for him to. "I can stop if you want me to." He told me, his sincere eyes pleading me not to push him away. I didn't move. I just looked at him and held him closer. He must have understood it. He bent and our lips found each other again. "Should we...Take this upstairs?" He suggested in between kisses. I simply nodded. With one muscular pull he carried me up, not breaking his kiss. He walked slowly up the stairs, careful not to drop me. He walked so slow it felt it would kill me if I'd wait any longer. I mentally curse the long staircase. Our kiss deepened, it was more rough now than passionate. When he managed to open the door to my room, Dipsy ran out and passed through Danny's legs, and broke the steamy kisses. He let out a giggle. "You're puppy knows we meant business when we opened the door." He joked. He laid me carefully on the bed. It felt weird for me, and nerve-wrecking. You see, unlike Danny, I don't have any experience with this. I have always been busy with my career and so did Duke. I never had a boyfriend before Duke. On second thought, I don't think I have one now. "What?"

He lay beside me and I turned to face him. He just looked at me. His eyes shining from the light that came from outside. "You're so beautiful, JUlienne." He stroke the side of my face, again, leaving shock waves all over me. I smiled back. "You want to do this?" He asked. I wasn't exactly sure if he meant what I thought he meant. "Julienne, I know you have a boyfriend. I have seen the pictures." Danny told me. With that, I sat up the bed. "You can push me away, Julienne. But I don't think I can last if you did so." He slowly sat up too. "We're not together anymore, Danny." I told him, unsure why I said that. "Really?" He questioned. "He has never been around to begin with." I explained, tears brimming in my eyes. Duke is a great guy. But I didn't love him because I chose to love him. It just...My tears started to flow. "Shh...Don't cry, Julienne." He wrapped his strong armsm around me. In an instant, I felt wonderful inside. Only Danny has this effect on me. "Would you listen to me if I told you my story?" I looked up at him. "Of course." Danny wiped my tears away before they even fell. Danny leaned on the headboard and motioned me to cuddle up next to him. I climbed next to him and he held me right away. I rested by head on his strong chest. "Duke and I have been dating for a long time." I started. "In those years of dating, I caught him cheating on me twice. One with his own secretary, and the other with some chick he met. The painful thing is, I saw him kissing with the two girls." Painful memories started to shift back. "He denied it of course, but being the genius that I am, I took the pictures. He begged me to stay, saying that he wouldn't do it again" I stopped. I went straight to the point. Danny needs to know. "Then why didn't you call it quits when you found out?" Danny asked. "Because mom and dad pleaded me not to. He hasn't cheated on me eversince but then again, he's in Germany and I'm here. And he hasn't called me since a few days ago." I let our a sigh...of regret. "It's your heart and life JUlienne. I don't think your parents can do that to you." He justified. "My dad is a real estate king. And his right-hand man is Duke. He's smart, and a great architecht. JUst not a good boyfriend to me." Danny started playing with my hair. "He's an idiot." He concluded. "He doesn't realize you're the best girl in the world." He whispered and give my head a kiss. "You think so, Danny?" I looked up. He nodded. "I may not exactly have a clean reputation with girls, if you have read the tabloids. But, I want you to know, Julienne, that I am changing. I want to start all over again, and do it right...Because of you, I want to respect the ladies." He told me as he caressed my face. I smiled back at him.

"If you want to know, I called it quits with Duke tonight. I emailed him and told him it's over. YOu think I did the right thing?" I asked. "Well, if it sets your heart free then you did." HE moved closer and gave me that kiss again that can send every nerve in my body crazy. His hands travelled to my waist as he pulled me closer to him. I don't know if we could get any closer. He parted his lips and his tongue outlined my lips. I parted my tongue as well and both met each other. Our tongues did a wonderful dance. He lay me on the bed without breaking the wonderful kiss. We kissed more and it was obvious our bodies ached for each other. But I don't know if 'I' should do it yet. He must understand if I did that, or else that speech about 'starting right' was just crap. His strong chest pressed against mine and his hands move down to my thighs and legs. Clearly, I know where this is heading. And I'm not ready yet. "Dan..." I broke the kiss that lasted a lifetime. He looked at me, eyes with a hint of being stunned. We communicated with our eyes. "I understand, Julienne." Then he added a smile. "Thank you."

It was close to six when we finally got some sleep. Danny retreated back to Duke's room while I just lay on my bed speechless. "I just kissed Danny Jones." I realized. I could still feel the warmth of Danny's body on me. His smell was intoxicating it ached for me that I had to stop him. I wanted him too. I really do. But I don't want to hurt in love again. I have to make sure Danny's intentions is purely because he loves me. He didn't even say that to me yet. "Oh Danny...what are you up to?"

Chapter Twenty-Five: Harry's POV

I was walking around the city that Sunday morning just to get some fresh air. I couldn't get myself to relax in the house. Tom has a terrible hang-over and missed breakfast, Dougie locked himself up in his room to sleep the whole day, and Danny...well, Danny is nowhere. He disappeared last night with Julienne and he never came back. "I wonder where he could be..." I try to shove the thought that he might be with Julienne at a nearby hotel as far as I could. MY heart seemed to respond to this thought with a pain that is surging through my blood. I entered a nearby park. Just as I expected, families were already there with their little ones for a nice breakfast picnic.The weather is cold yet this tradition among families never died. I stopped at a bench and sat down. Izzy and I came here once or twice. But instead of spending quality time before she goes on tour, she met up with some friends and that made me feel left out. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I want to break up with her...She doesn't make me feel welcomed or wanted (except in s*x).

I watched as families laugh and dine. It made me want to cry. I never had that family. I came from a broken family, my dad left us when I was five, and my sister went crazy from depression and ran away from home. My mother and I had to cope up with poverty and had to live in shelters just so we have a floor to sleep in, and leftovers to eat. It was a terrible childhood. But thank goodness I got in McFLY and started living well. I support my mother who is living in Essex. I feel bad having to leave her but I can put my mind at ease since I rented out a nice apartment for her to live in. She has a decent job also. I looked up the sky, it's as gloomy as how I feel. I want to hold someone, someone who can make me feel special....someone who would take care of me...someone who is like family and a lover that I never had....someone like Julienne. But then again, I don't think I'll ever see her again unless she decides to sign up with the band. But that close to impossible. She hates us. Too many things happened in the past few days it makes me feel older. I got up and resumed walking. I decided to grab a bite at a nearby fish-and-chips stand. I hungrily gobbled up the hot and oily fish to satisfy my hunger. With my food in hand, I walked out of the park and to the busy streets of London. "Maybe I should get home."

I opened the door to the house and took off my jacket and hang it by the door. I can hear someone cooking in the kitchen. I glanced at the time. It was 9AM. I walked in the kitchen and saw Tom with a dorky apron wrapped around his body. His hair was disoriented, clearly he just woke up. He's making some pancakes. "Morning." I greeted as I headed for the fridge for a soda. "Morning." He greeted back. "Danny's not home yet?" I asked. He eyed me suspicously. "Why do you ask? You never asked about our whereabouts. Especially not Danny's." He answered as he flip the pancake. "It's not too late to start, ei?" I answered, trying to keep my cool, and took a sip of the soda. "Well, last time I heard from Danny was last night when he told me the news." Tom placed a pile of pancakes on the table. I raised an eyebrow at him. He just nodded and gave a little smile. "We have a pianist." I choked on my soda. My brain raced. I coughed and coughed, not able to believe what I just heard. "Julienne?" I wondered. "I'm quite shocked myself when I heard it." He sat down on the chair to help himself with the pancakes he just made. I stared at him blankly. "You've got some apologizing to do, Mr. Judd." Tom winked at me and gave a tiny snicker. "Yup! it is, Julienne." My heart leaped with joy. I can see it now...Julienne on tour with us, everywhere with us. It's too good to be true. And maybe I can have the guts to fight my love for her and confess my feelings to her when the time is right, when I'm sure Danny isn't involved....Danny..."So Danny WAS with Julienne last night." My heart sank. "Danny is involved afterall."

Chapter Twenty-Six: Danny's POV

"Who am I kidding?" I can't possibly sleep now. I lie awake on the bed. The clock registered 7. I have been lying here for a good hour and I still couldn't get any sleep. I wonder if she's asleep. I was so close to Julienne. I hope I didn't scare her. I really love her, and I was about to tell her that if only she hadn't stopped me. I wonder why she did that.

I sat up on the bed. I looked around the room as the sunlight started to pour its rays on the room. "I'm going to be sick." This is Duke's room. It's a CURSED room. I put on the T-shirt that I took off earlier and headed out. I took a peak at Julienne. Her eyes were closed and looked like she's sleeping soundly. I tried to close the door as quiet as possible when the puppy in the room started barking at me like crazy. Julienne woke up while I kept on sushing the raging mutt! "Danny?" She called out as she rubbed her tired eyes. "Go back to sleep, Julienne. I'm sorry." I apologized. She might just yell at me! "It's okay, Danny." She giggled as she just lay on the bed patting the culprit on the head. "Breakfast?" I offered. "That would be lovely." She said as she slipped out of the comforters, revealing her hot night-gown. I would probably faint if I wasn't holding on the door. Her legs were fantastic. I took the honor of feasting on her body as she walked up to the mirror to tie her hair into a pony tail. That gorgeously-shaped body, smooth long legs, beautiful arms....My head started to spin. I would have drooled at that glorious sight. AT the back of my head popped out the images from last night almost-steamy session. My lips were dry. I wanted her so bad. "Danny, you better stop perving on me." My eyes locked with the image on the mirror. I immediately looked away. "I'm sorry.." I apologized for my ragin hormones. "Close the door and give me a chane to change, yeah?" She instructed. I immediately did as told. I leaned on the closed door as I hear her going through her closet. I shook my head so the images of Julienne's body would fall off! I was getting needy and desperate here! I heard the door click. I stepped aside. She had a t-shirt and shorts on. I still think she looks amazing.

We walked down the grand staircase for some breakfast. The maid emerged from nowhere and announced that breakfast is served. "Sweet." I commented. "Do they always do that every meal?" I asked. "Hehe. Yeah, they do." We sat beside each other on the dining hall that looked like a king's feast table. There were eggs, bread, butter, cereal, fruits, sausages, bacon, cheese, milk, coffee, juice, more! "Wow." I eyed the feast in front of me. "I told them I had a guest that probably has a big appetite." She told me in between giggles. "A guest? I'm starting to wonder now what they will prepare if the whole band was here!"
